Project Overview:I partnered with Calum, founder of Seen Media UK, as a Framer developer to build a one-page portfolio website that showcases their creative production capabilities and positions them as a top creative partner for high-end brands.
Challenge:Develop and launch a mobile-responsive portfolio website in one week that properly displays Seen Media's diverse work across motion design, video production, event content, and social campaigns while maintaining fast load times.
Approach:
Day 1-2: I kicked off with an email converstion with Calum to understand Seen Media's positioning, who they're trying to reach, and how fast they need to launch. We reviewed the Figma design and mapped out the technical approach for CMS integration and custom components.
Day 3-5: I built out the Figma design to a live page; created custom Framer components for the work gallery, and past project sections. I set up a CMS structure so the team could easily update project showcases. Throughout the build, I implemented parallax scroll animations on the images to create depth and keep things visually engaging.
Day 6-7: I implemented Calum's feedback, optimised performance across all the custom components, refined the parallax effects to feel smooth and natural, and ran final tests across different devices before launch.
Scope of Work:
- End-to-end Framer development from Figma
- Custom component creation (gallery, carousel, video sections)
- CMS setup and structure
- Fully responsive layouts across all devices
- Performance and SEO optimization
Result:The completed website communicates Seen Media's creative range and production expertise, establishes credibility through prominent client showcases, provides easy content management through CMS, and creates a meaningful web experience their site visitors would really value.
